What you share
The estimate form collects your name, email address, optional phone number (required if you prefer a call), town or city, repair service, metal, description and photos. It records your consent to this notice, a request reference and submission time. Do not include payment details, identification documents or unrelated personal information.
Why it is used
Gold Fixers uses this information to understand the repair, prepare an estimate, respond to questions and discuss next steps. Submitting this form is not consent to marketing. The website does not generate prices using AI, take payment or send automatic emails.
Photos and your private link
Photos are resized and re-encoded in your browser before upload; the new image does not retain the original file’s embedded location metadata. Photos and request records are stored using the website’s hosting infrastructure, including Cloudflare database and object storage services. The repair desk requires the owner’s signed-in account. Your private request link also grants access to your repair details, photos and estimate, but does not display the name, email, phone or town you supplied. Anyone you share that link with can view those repair details, so keep it private.
Storage and deletion
Requests remain stored until Gold Fixers deletes them. There is no automatic deletion schedule currently configured. The repair desk can permanently delete the request, contact details and uploaded photos. To ask about your information, request a correction or request deletion, contact Gold Fixers using the contact options on our Google business profile and provide your request reference. Please do not post your private link in a public review.
Security and essential processing
The website uses encrypted connections in production, private photo storage, input checks and access controls. To limit abuse, submission handling uses a time-limited, hashed network-address identifier; this is not used for marketing. Hosting providers may process technical logs needed to operate and protect the service. The application does not install advertising trackers or third-party analytics. Sign-in for the repair desk is provided by ChatGPT and may use essential authentication cookies.
Other websites
Our Google profile and other external links open services with their own privacy practices. Photographs on the public pages illustrate jewellery; customer-uploaded photos are not published in a gallery.
